Download the admission bulletin from 02-03-2009 and apply on-line at the website http://home.cmcvellore.ac.in on or before 08th April 20093. Application & Prospectus are also available at the office of the Registrar on payment of Rs. 500/- from 04-03-2009 (i) Payable as a chalan at any branch of the ICICI bank in India, mention FC-CMC-V on the chalan (or) (ii) Demand draft in favour of “CMC Vellore Association” on any scheduled bank, payable at Vellore.
Last date for submission of the filled application form is 08th April 2009.

Obtaining prospectus and application formsApplication forms can be accessed on-line through the College website on http://home.cmcvellore.ac.in and submitted with a basic administrative fee of Rs 500/-. Application forms are available by post from the Office of the Registrar on payment of Rs.500/-. Applications are also available at selected Head Post Offices throughout India (check Annexure VII for detailed list of post offices)Money can be remitted using any of the following methods:(1) As a chalan at no extra cost at any branch of ICICI bank in India. Please mention FC-CMC-V on the chalan.(2) Demand draft in favour of “C.M.C. CMC Vellore MBBS Entrance Exam Syllabus
The syllabus for the common entrance tests (unless otherwise specified) will be a mixture of ‘plus two’ level boards recognised by the TN Dr MGR Med University. Papers will be in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Ability including Speed and Accuracy and a few questions on current topical interest. Wherever there is a special paper, the syllabus would be based on the qualifying examination required for the subject. Please see the course description in the prospectus/ website.

Admissions to Under Graduate Courses in Private, Unaided, Medical and Engineering Colleges of Karnataka for the Academic Year 2009-2010 through COMEDK under graduate entrance test and centralized counseling (COMEDK UGET-2009)
Karnataka Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association and Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association have set up ‘COMEDK’ to organize a ‘Common Entrance Test and Centralized Counseling’, that would facilitate selection of candidates on merit for admissions to undergraduate courses offered by member institutions (Medical and Engineering). COMEDK entrance test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counseling (Single window system). The details of the arrangement made will be publicized in due course on our website, (www.comedk.org)
There is no Common Entrance Test for admissions to BDS during the year 2009-2010
Candidates are advised to visit the COMEDK website (www.comedk.org) regularly for all updates.

The Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET-2009) for admission to Under-Graduate courses, i.e. MBBS and BDS will be held on Sunday, 17th May, 2009 at Delhi. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form.
The application form along with Bulletin of Information (BOI) is obtainable from the office of the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, against a Bank Draft/Banker’s Cheque drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi in the following manner:(i) By hand for Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty only) between 10.00 A.M. to 03.00 P.M. on all working days from 27th February, 2009 to 2nd April, 2009.(ii) By post for Rs 600 (Rupees Six Hundred only) along with a self addressed envelop of 10” x 8” upto 17th March 2009.(iii) BOI is not available against “Cash Payment”.
The application form along with BOI can also be obtained, by hand only, from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical College and University College of Medical Sciences.

Application Forms will also be available from selected centres of Punjab National Bank displayed on web site on Payment of Rs 500/- in Cash. Fee for Examination is Rs. 1,500/- payable by DD in favour of “AMUPMDC” payable at Mumbai.
All the Member Medical Colleges of The Association are affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and approved by Medical Council of India, Dental Colleges by Dental Council of India & other Health Science Colleges by their respective Central Councils.

Examination Centers: Asso CET-2009 will be conducted at 18 centers in Maharashtra (viz. Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Ahmednagar, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Aurangabad, Latur, Nanded, Parbhani, Akola Amravati and Nagar) and 11 centers outside Maharashtra state (viz. Delhi, Noida, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kota, Indore, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata).
The right to add or delete Examination Centers rest with the Competent Authority
Eligibility Criteria: (1) Candidate must be born on or before 31st Dec 1992, (2) Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2 or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with 50% for open category & 40% for reserved categories, (3) Candidates appearing for HSC (10+2)/equivalent examination in March 2009 are also eligible to appear for Asso CET-2009, however, the candidate must fulfill the eligibility conditions.
Examination Pattern: ▪ Asso-CET-2009 will consist of 200 MCQs comprising of Physics (50), Chemistry (50) and Biology (100) ▪ Every correct answer will be awarded 1 mark ▪ No negative marking ▪ The medium of examination will be English ▪ Syllabus for Asso CET-2009 will be same as of the subject of Physics, Chemistry & Biology of HSC Board of Maharashtra for the year 2007-08 syllabus will be displayed on website.
